Discovered this by accident. My buddy and I did an overnight and the gnats were horrible, so I loaned him an extra head net (before the trip). When the trip was over he gave back the gear I had loaned him, including the head net. Well it stunk bad, really bad! Took it to the sink scrunched it up added some liquid soap and massaged it in. I realized this is the same thing my wife uses to shower with. So a good way to clean your gear and you at the same time. It might even work to clean your cookware but I don't know if I would want food stuck in my netting. Sorry if someone else already had thought if this and posted, I had never hear or seen it though.
