    greetings, y'all!!
    ive registered 5 tomes this year, and keep forgetting my login info! ill post my spring/summer gearlist for "initiation rites" ;)
    CLOTHING:
    1 knit cap
    1 pair wool sock-gloves
    REI lightweight thermal zip top*
    REI midweight thermal bottoms**
    1 xtra pair socks (no liners)
    1 pair socks*
    REI Sahara tee*
    1 pair wicking skivvies*
    Fleece sweater,hoodless windproof zip-up**
    Kühl softshell pants (windproof/DWR/wicking/fastdrying)*
    VFF KSO's or LW Addidas runners*
    Patagonia Torrentshell jacket**
    SLEEP SYSTEM
    Thermarest Z-lite, 3/4 length cut an xtra 5", cut to body contours
    Lafuma 650 PRO +40
    OPTIONAL fleece bagliner, only carried when I expect temps to drop. I wear all my clothing in the sack.
    SHELTER:
    Tarptent Contrail
    Trekking poles (used at all times)
    PACK:
    Used, modified REI Lookout pack. Butchered it,made it a top-loader 15oz 3,700cu in
    Trash compactor bag liner:)
    ESSENTIALS:
    Petzl tikka2
    mini bic
    First Aid (also works as repair kit):
    8 bandaids, 4 diff. sizes. Sewing needle. dental floss. 3 single-use neosporin packets. 3 sterile towlettes. 1 small ace wrap. glovers needle. thimble. hand sanitizer. toothbrush head, 2" handle.
    Duct tape (on trekking poles)
    Leatherman Freestyle (only knife & pliers)*
    Map & Compass
    GPS (etrex legend C)
    1 set xtra batteries per day (if heavy GPS use is anticipated)
    SteriPen Opti Adventure (w/1 xtra set of batts.)
    SOTO stove 2.6oz
    Snowpeak TiSpork
    Snowpeak Ti mug
    Gigapower fuel canister (size small for 1-2 nights)
    1oz Dr bronners soap
    6"x6" microfiber cloth
    emergency whistle
    recycled gatorade bottle

    * =An item that is worn/caarried ** =An item that may be worn/carried due to climate conditions.

    Ill update soon w/individual weight(s), but base weights are accurate:
    Pack/bag/pad/shelter 6lbs
    ALL clothing:6lbs
    essentials:4-6lbs
    I normally pack anywhere from 2,500-3,300 calories per day.

    Modified REI Lookout

    heres the lazy top strap. I need to install a buckle.lookouttopstrap

    the extra fabric came from an outdated rei shelter, mightve been clled gimme shelter 2…
    I completed the modding In about an hour, hour n a half using dental floss & a glovers needle…o ya, and a thimble^_^
