I would like to know if any readers have a Nunatak Alpinist sleeping bag. The arc does not appeal to me since I can be a thrasher. I either sleep on my side or in a “3/4 position” where my lower body is flat and the upper is on the side. I also tend to roll with the bag in place so the face opening over the face is nice.
Does anyone have experience with this (or the lighter weight) version?

I found that I sleep better in my AA because in a mummy bag I’m more confined. Also, with the straps around the bottom of the pad I’m less likely when I rotate to take parts of the bag with me, so I’m not twisted up in the bag as much.
I use my AA with a hooded skaha, so the face opening follows me as I thrash around.
All in all, I prefer it to a mummy because I thrash around.
