I'm hiking 148 miles of the John Muir Trail this summer. Planning to start in Mammoth Lakes at the Duck Pass Trailhead (a six mile lateral trail that meets the JMT at mile 70) and hike south to Mt. Whitney. I hiked the JMT solo last summer and would like to do it again. This year I didn't get a permit to start in Yosemite, which is one reason I'm planning to start in Mammoth. Planning on 10 days for the trip starting in mid to late August.
Below is a link to some general info on the JMT and also a link to my website. Let me know if you are interested in joining me.
