    I'm posting this mostly for fun. It does work but I've never gone on a long hike with the back bag at this low position. I usually carry it higher. Who knows, maybe it will give some of you ideas.

    A pack that low would make you hike faster up the hill it would feel like someone was kicking your butt all the way up the trail to me.
