Hey folks: Thinking about buying a Hexamid tent. Since I will be bike touring I will not have walking poles. Has anyone used a bike with a Hexamid? I guess I can always carry some regular tent poles but would be nice to use my bike. FWIW:I don't have a kick stand one my bike. Thanks for any input, Charlie

It might work nicely if you get Joe to build you a Hexamid with a loop on the top of the peak.

I just saw your post on bikeforums as well. I am not sure about using it with a hexamid, but I have used a bike as a "pole" before with some of my tarps.
