An interesting pack. 2007 Backpacker Editors' Choice award. Sailcloth and 840 Denier, 5lbs – it's a burly pack. Not UL, but this is an alpine pack with huge capacity, and you might be able to trim some weight and be left with some beautiful Dyneema sailcloth haha.

And Lowe Alpine's lightest backpack, the 50L Zepton, is on sale at Campmor for $120 with free shipping. This is a framed, hip-belt pack, so it weighs a little more than the packs some people here have.
