upon a quick peak it appears that you get a 17oz pillow for $30, not 17oz of down. I would think there's probably 10oz in there

    I noticed pillows at Costco

I think it was $30 for two pillows – didn't say how much down and what fill

Hammockgear.com $6.50 per ounce for 800+ looks pretty good, but they're currently out of stock

the hammock gear down is very nice. Good price too. Not sure but Bender might still sell down and his was 750 i think and i think even cheaper.

Did this turn out to be decent 700 fp down?

I was going to order some down to work on a few projects and this is by far the best value.

Otherwise I'm waiting for hammockgear to restock 800+ or purchase from wildernesslogics

Usually pillows of that type have a high feather content, not that suitable for our purposes.

    Thanks Franco,

I'll order from wilderness logics then. Otherwise I'll keep procrastinating making pants/etc.

If you want 700 fp, Feathertex is a little more than a dollar per ounce, but you do have to buy a minimum of two pounds.

    Wow. Thanks Eugene.

I hadn't seen feathertex before even after tons of browsing. I already purchased the 800 FP today which I am happy with, but the 700 FP for that good of a price will leave it an option next time I purchase down.
