    You need to include the FULL URL, thus:
    http://www.gossamergear.com

    Otherwise the system assumes that it is an address local to BPL.

    The trick is, how do you have the code for how to put in a link, without having that expanded into a link.

    <a href="URL">text</a>

    in your post shows up as

    <a href="URL">text</a>

    but who cares…
