Most of the lightweight tents I like have more mosquito netting than I care for. To combat this I've been using a tent cozy to cover up the mosquito netting. Here's a picture of an REI Coupe tent with and without the cozy.
A cozy for this tent weighs about 4 ounces using 1+ ounce per square yard uncoated nylon. The tent is much warmer with the cozy.
I wish the tent companies would offer a cozy for their tents, like they do for footprnts, gear lofts, etc. The Big Agnes Copper Spur would be a perfect candidate because the mosquito netting is all in the upper portion of the tent.
