Check your emails. I just received a $20 holiday gift certificate from backcountry.com. Not only that, but they have a sale going as well.
I was able to pick up their 700ml titanium pot and spork for a cool $17 shipped.
Dec 23, 2010 at 12:29 pm #1677113Also worth noting….there's a free shipping offer as well.
Soo….for those paying attention…play your cards right and you can get a Snowpeak 600 for $8 or soo.
Dec 23, 2010 at 12:43 pm #1677115…or a pair of Ex-Officio Give-n-Go briefs for $5, including shipping.
Dec 23, 2010 at 3:52 pm #1677169or no e mail at all like me :(

Dec 23, 2010 at 4:21 pm #1677181how do you get free shipping, or is it just +$50?
Dec 23, 2010 at 4:40 pm #1677186I'm new here… Never shopped at BackCountry.com. Is their list based on past purchases? Membership to BPL?
Thanks,
Fat BoyDec 23, 2010 at 4:43 pm #1677188it was $50 plus for me- maybe something new now???
my total was $55 :) R1 balaclava and a pack of MSR Groundhog stakes- basically got the stakes for free
I believe the coupon went out to folks who have purchased in the past- mine came as a surprise (didn't signup for anything special)
Dec 24, 2010 at 12:00 am #1677248i have it and you're going to love it. maybe my favorite accesory piece of gear
Dec 24, 2010 at 12:38 am #1677250Was just going to grab a free Naglene . . . but ended up ordering two of them as well as the 700ml Pot/Spork set that the OP ordered for $32.78 all in.
Thank you Backcountry !
Dec 24, 2010 at 7:44 pm #1677425Huh- I wonder what the criteria were for picking recipients- I didn't get one, not in my spam folder. Maybe folks who have spent over $X? Not that it matters! :)
Dec 24, 2010 at 9:08 pm #1677447I think so, Aaron. I didn't get one either, shame as I was hoping for a new 700ml Ti pot.

Dec 25, 2010 at 7:36 pm #1677598I got some Mountain Hardwear Mesa convertible pants that were already on sale with the $2.99 next day shipping for a total of about $43 compared to $75 minus shipping. Great deal and they came early enough to be used on a trip next week!
Dec 25, 2010 at 7:48 pm #1677600Don't mean to be grabby, but if anyone has one they won't be using tonight feel free to PM it my way! Thanks in advance!
Dec 25, 2010 at 9:20 pm #1677619I've ordered from them a few times in the past. The last time was just two weeks ago and I didn't get anything. :(
Dec 26, 2010 at 7:13 am #1677654I've spent $300 each year for the last two with BC and have gotten this each Christmas. Last year they gave them out in early Dec. This year I think they waited to hoefully get some impulse buys and overstock inventory out the door.
Dec 28, 2010 at 10:12 am #1678308I think I had only made one purchase from them all year and it wasn't very large. I have never received one of these before, so maybe that had something to do with it.
Dec 28, 2010 at 12:19 pm #1678333i got one and didn't spend maybe but $50 there all year…
