What sizes (S,M,L) are the torso length and the belt on the G4 pack?Nov 24, 2010 at 2:19 pm #1667673
The belt is 50" fully extended and I'm gonna say it's a Lg on the torso since it measures 22" from the top of the shoulder straps down to the top of the waist belt.
(Not sure if that's a helpful measurement but it's something to go by in the absence of a tag.)
I'm 6'0 & 175#, but with a long-ish torso I wear Large size packs and this one fits me.
Hope that helps a bit!Nov 24, 2010 at 2:30 pm #1667680
Hi! What type/model of DriDucks are these?Nov 24, 2010 at 3:23 pm #1667699
They're the "UltraLite2," and it actually looks like $20 shipped would be more appropriate:Nov 24, 2010 at 7:17 pm #1667767

Let's make a deal at $55 for this classic?Dec 8, 2010 at 8:30 am #1672187
Can't access email right now. Have you made any modifications to the G4?Dec 8, 2010 at 8:46 am #1672195
No mods at all, my friend. Thanks for asking.
I should also mention that the straps DO have padding and that the pack has normal wear. I used it for the first half of an AT thru-hike (picked up a Golite Breeze in Harper's Ferry), but I took good care of the pack.Dec 8, 2010 at 9:43 am #1672214
I think it's slightly too big for me as far as torso length goes. Just curious, though, the pads in the straps can be removed and replaced with socks and gloves. Right?Dec 8, 2010 at 10:18 am #1672223
Correct, the straps have a velcro opening on the sides to remove the original padding and replace with socks, etc.
And I don't mean to imply that the torso length is actually 23"+.. I didn't measure it in a way that would be comparable with industry standards (don't know how). I'm 6'0 and it fits me; just a standard Lg size, I'd say.
Thanks again.Dec 8, 2010 at 10:22 am #1672224
I'm 5'9 1/2", but my torso length is 21 – 22". Long torso, short legs.Dec 8, 2010 at 10:42 am #1672235
My torso is actually 21.5" (just had my wife measure me using golite's instructions), so it may well be a perfect fit for you…Dec 8, 2010 at 10:50 am #1672238
Check this out!
So it looks like the Lg is 20-24".
Heck, this pack could even be a medium! No tags anywhere and I don't recall for sure.. I just know that it fits me. :)Dec 8, 2010 at 12:00 pm #1672263
