Does anyone know of a private enterprise that provides car shuttle from Rim to Rim? We just paid $560 plus tip for 7 of us to get back to our cars on the North Rim. Would gladly pay someone $300 to move two cars over.
Oct 3, 2010 at 10:30 pm #1651173I agree the shuttle seems way too expensive.
A cheaper and more enjoyable way to solve this would be to do a Rim to Rim to Rim hike.
Its doable in a day for the super fit, and doable in 2 days for the generally fit.
For those who insist that a Rim to Rim is enough, the standard plan for groups is to have half the group start from the south rim, half the group start from the north rim, switch car keys in the middle, then meet up afterwards at a designated location.
