I've been experimenting and found a good tea mixture for hiking when I want more than just water. I make a pitcher and fill up a Platy.
Tastes good and keeps me stepping lively on the trail.
Ingredients:
Vital Tea Blue People Ginseng Oolong
Organic Raw Blue Agave
1. Tablespoon of Blue People leaves
2. Boiling water on tea in large cup and then pour into pitcher using a strainer. Keep repeating until full
3. Four tablespoons of Blue agave (adjust to suit your taste)
Notes:
Pour out first cup to rinse the tea leaves
I add the agave after the first add of tea to pitcher
It's good hot, warm, cool, or cold.
It's good without the blue agave, but then it would not give you a buzz on the trail : )
