I am about to make two bivy sacks, and I wonder how well a silnylon bottom shell will hold up?
Does the silnylon need a ground cloth/plastic to protect it from abrasion from movement during sleep?
I believe the coating and quality of the material might not hold up with use and movement during the night.
Anyone have first hand experience here?
Z.
