Not much else to say, merely a mellow weekend of dodging tourists, dayhiking, fishing, photographing, and hanging out. I will say that we're having a horrendous bug season around here, the mosquitoes and deer flies were easily as bad as I've seen them in Yellowstone. Ick. I'm waiting until after the first hard frost to visit the Bechler next month. Let it snow.

Apparently a curious Griz pawed through a tent at 8H5 at Heart Lake on Thursday evening. They had closed all the sites around the lake, and sent up the electric shock tent to do aversive conditioning. We had an interesting conversation with a bear management specialist at the Heart Lake cabin, and I'm starting a thread shortly in General Discussion on that.

A good summer weekend.
