I recently made a silnylon tarp about 9' long with one end about 6.5' wide and the other about 6'

I'm debating on adding tie-outs in the middle of the panels on the 6.5' side.
I really hate to add unnecessary holes to the canopy, but will be using this in areas with potential for high winds.

I've used a tarp quite a bit, but only an 5×8 in non-windy areas and I may not have access to a sewing machine this summer while traveling.

Make this easy and tell me what you would do.
    Thanks

Grip Clips can stress silnylon and cause it to leak.

I am a big fan of extra reinforced tie-outs.
They do come in handy when the weather gets crazy. They make the shelter behave better so you sleep better at night.

Just wanted to thank everyone for the responses and PMs.
I think I'm just going to end up adding a few tie-outs to the ridgeline so I can set up different in heavy weather.
