I've always used plastic water bottles (now I'll use BPA-free only), but have wondered if aluminum or some other material is lighter.
Does aluminum clang around too much in the bottle cage? Is there an alumimum bike bottle that has a large capacity (28-30 oz. or even more)? Is there one with ridges, to make it easier to hold?
Thanks…

Stick to the cheap plastic bottles that are super light and you are not worried if you loose them.
