Similar designs and Gen can add a rear beak if required.
Otherwise Ron @ MLD could modify the Patro Shelter for you.

Mar 8, 2010 at 1:26 pm #1583646Hi,
as there are no news about the Laufbursche Shelter – what do you guys think about the GG Spinnshelter?
I decided to go with a tarp now..Mar 8, 2010 at 1:29 pm #1583647What about this:

Weight includes poles. You can use trekking poles.
Mar 8, 2010 at 2:00 pm #1583666I've seen it before, but it looks not as flexible as the spinnshelter – apart from the higher weight
Mar 8, 2010 at 2:02 pm #1583667It is definitely heavier. Of course you get a floor and bug protection.
Mar 12, 2010 at 1:52 pm #1585765alright, so my new plan is the following:
– ponchotarp for the hotter summer times (gatewood cape?)
+ lightweight bivy (or do you think a sleeping bag/quilt with some sort of shell is enough?
– tarp like spinnshelter for colder, "rainier" timesI'd like to hear your opinion on the suggested items, if this makes sense…
Thanks,
Christoph -
