Anyone know of the lightest grill out there to take on a hike for a couple of burgers, steaks, etc

I’ve used some similar to these before: http://www.pacific-century.net/con_2.htm
They work OK but are bulky. You could strap it to the outside of your pack. One thing I haven’t tried but want to is to use some aluminum gutter guard and make a grill from the coals of a campfire. This would be lighter and less mess. I’ll let you know if I try it out.Mar 26, 2006 at 10:43 am #1353468Try a paint screen made for five gallon buckets. Made of aluminum about 11″ square. Very light. Less than $3.00.
