First day, about 5 miles in thick fog and a few showers

    not much visibility

swiss brown cows in high pastures for 2 months in the summer

the alpine hut we spent the night at; soup, cheese, yodeling and all that

early morning view from the hut. Loks like a sunny day ahead.

Well, I also had comments on each picture…anyway, this was a 2 day trip with the overnight in an alpine hut. on the way there we hiked along the valley, then up to the hut, about 5 miles, in rain and fog. Next morning we climbed up further and hiked up and down along the sides of the mountaing, about 13 miles. Maximum altitude was about 3500 meters.
In the alpinr hut we huddled in our sleeping bags in the loft, with about thirthy hikers that came through several different passes. We shared soup, cheese, songs and other stories. this is about 90 minutes from where I was raised
