Here’s one simple solution I found to avoid burned fingers or wrists when lifting your pot lid when using an alcohol stove: http://www.freewebs.com/jasonklass/wickpothandle.htm
Next, I’m working on some kind of flame-proof insulation for side handles like those found on the Snowpeak pots or MSR Titan Kettle. If anyone else has other ideas, please share! -
