Hey all. I'm looking for a light merino wool beanie that will fit a larger sized head. My hat size is 7 1/2, and the smartwool beanie I ordered (1.6 oz) is too tight. Can't quite get it past my ears. Any suggestions?

actual weight 1.5 oz – Icebreaker Pocket 200 – I bought one last winter and loved it so much I just bought 2 more. Great fit for my big ole 7 1/2 melon. I get GREAT ear and back of the neck coverage. They have transitioned to a single size, but the new ones fit as my large from last year.

Have you looked at the BPL beanie? It will fit just about anyone and is made well.
