With all the talk recently regarding hiking/running records I found this news interesting.

Scott Willamson and hiking partner Adam Bradley completed the PCT in a record time of 65 days, 9 hours and 58 minutes. This was completed unsupported making the effort all the more impressive. This works out to 2,655 miles in 1,570 hours (40.5 miles per day, 1.7 mph).

If they averaged 6 hours of sleep per night their hiking time would be 1,180 hours with an average pace of 2.25 mph.

That is remarkable-Wow! There feet were screaming after the hike for sure..
