Anyone interested in doing the Black Forest Trail loop Oct. 3-4? From a writeup I found somewhere, FWIW:
The Black Forest Trail loop is a difficult, strenuous 42-mile hike in north-central PA. It's rocky, rugged and steep, with numerous ascents and descents ranging from 200 to 1200 feet. It also has exceptional vistas, scenic mountain streams, small waterfalls, beautiful campsites, gorges and glens. It's said to be one of the hardest, but most beautiful hikes in PA.
