Jun 4, 2009 at 5:03 pm #1505972Jay,
Do you have any info on snow levels in Emigrant this season?
Jun 4, 2009 at 5:11 pm #1505974Lower Relief Valley shows no snow as of today- I bet there is still snow higher up at Mosquito Pass. CDEC.gov says the snow was only 66% of normal and is melting off rapidly. I don't think its going to be a major issue.
Jun 4, 2009 at 5:44 pm #1505985have a good trip Jay. Hope the T Storms aren't too bad. Expect some pictures!!!

Jun 12, 2009 at 8:52 am #1507797Jay,
Wish I could go with you…so pretty out there.
I am going with some friends and relatives to Yosemite for a day hike from the valley floor to the top of El Capitan and back down.
Going to be a long day.
Will take photos and share with everyone here.
Wish I could clone myself and go on both trips.
Be safe and have a great time.

Jun 12, 2009 at 10:17 am #1507823I have a trip to Fletcher Lake/Vogelsang High Sierra camp this weekend. If I chicken out (I'm not sure I'm ready to hike/camp on snow) I know I have a backup plan. I went up to Emigrant last year (Wire Lakes) and loved it.
