I found a roll of thinsulate in the back of a closet the other day. I wonder why it’s no longer used, apparently, in commercial insulated garments? Supposedly it is just as much warm per weight, or more, as down. Maybe it is less compressible than synthetic insulation?
Anyway since I have it, I am going to use it.
