Are these available pre-curved, or will a #3 YKK zipper flex enough to curve such as in a door to a net tent?

    They flex.
Of course it depends on your radius.
When un-zipped they look a little wavey.

when i do these i use a large garage type trash can to make the c part. I am too lazy for any real thinking and just line the curve up to my 2 straight lines. Cut it open and insert the zip.

I've never tried cutting first and then installing. I've always sewn in the zipper and then cut the opening.
