I noticed in both the current down jacket and the older synthetic pullover/jacket round-ups the available DIY kits were not included.
I would have loved to see the BPL DIY staff assemble a http://www.thru-hiker.com Whitney (down), Kennebec (synthetic) and Kinsman (synthetic) kit to include them in the round-ups.

MYOGJan 6, 2008 at 8:37 pm #1415099Jay it still sounds like a good idea. Quite a few kits and public domain patterns out there. So whatever happened?

That sounded like a great idea. Has there been any progress since this idea was posted?
