Why does the above torso length pad have an R value of 2.27 and the old Mt Washington have an R value of 3.2?

The Prolite 3 long and short have the same R value of 2.3. I realize those are not necessarily comparable between manufacturers.

John, the Mt. Washington pad also had a R2.27 value. I still have the packaging that came with mine and it’s printed on there.
