I sewed up this Bilgy two man tent from plans.
Weighs 2 lb 6 oz INCLUDING stakes and Tyvek footprint.
It has a bathtub floor and is very light and airy.
Quite an experience and I was glad to let go of my 4 lb.
Hubba Hubba.Plans and materials were had from Quest Outfitters for around $100.

I'm guessing between 30 & 40 hours. Not having a lot of experience with sewing slowed me down a bit.
The designer will answer questions via email.
Jul 14, 2008 at 9:28 am #1442850Nicely done. Rain and bug protection, what a great combination. I like that the netting sidewalls rise as high as they do; it should help minimize contact with the fly, condensation concerns if they arise.
