Hey, I just wanted to let you all know about my trip. We had awesome weather last week, and I never even needed a tarp. It was a little chillier than normal though, and I got a little cold a couple of nights. I tried for the North Rim and back to the river as a day hike out of Bright Angel campground. I had to abort the hike 2 miles from the rim in order to get back to camp at a decent time, but it was a great day nonetheless! Thanks again for all the insight and suggestions.
Ribbon Falls is a must, and Plateau Point at sunset is a definite must do!
