Some time ago this was posted to the BackpackingLight Yahoo Group This is how he made a very nice, though not easy or cheap, windscreen for his canister stove. I moderated the Yahoo “MakeGear” group and I asked Clyde if he would post it also to the MakeGear group. Here are his directions and pictures. He also has the same pictures in a MakeGear Photo Album called (Wind Scr…). This is a very clean and neat design and should be adaptable to other Canister type stoves. I was able to find the Olicamp titanium pot at several on-line outfitters. Thanks Clyde

I found that an Olicamp titanium pot can be used to
make an excellent windscreen for the Snowpeak
Gigapower stove. I used a drill and a Dremel tool to
make openings in the bottom of the pot to make it fit
on the stove. I sawed the top part of the pot off,
and cut a notch in the side to accommodate the handles
of my 600 ml Snowpeak titanium cup, which is what I
    use as a pot.

Photos are posted here (MakeGear – Group) in the Photo
Albums section called (Wind Scr…) or at
BackpackingLight under the the Clyde folder, in a
    subfolder called Wind Screen or
    http://tinyurl.com/yrbjv

I have since added a little tab to the notch under
the pot handles to keep the pot handles from getting
    hot.
    It weighs 1.38 oz.

This is expensive and involves a bit of work, but
I’m very pleased with the result. It’s durable, packs
compactly (pot fits inside and is held with rubber
band), and works great in the wind.

Here is a windscreen for a Gigapower stove I made based on the article in BPL and similar to the olicamp one that Bill posted. It’s not as nice as that one but much lighter. It works good but the main problem with it is the packability. It’s hard to pack without it getting bent out of shape.

I used a heating duct reducing tool available at most hardware stores to make the pie plate like indentations.

I wonder if I could make a similar one out of an 12$ Snowpeak Bowl… hm… thanks! especially for that scaled diagram.
