Bearing North: The Mackenzie River Ski Expedition

Hi everyone!

Just wanted to announce an upcoming trip I have been planning for a while. Bearing North, the Mackenzie River ski expedition. 2009 kilometres in the year 2009.

The goal of the expedition is…

"TO INSPIRE YOUTH TO PUSH THEIR LIMITS AND ACHIEVE THEIR FULL POTENTIAL."

With this in mind, the goal is being achieved through the following means:

1. Ski the entire length of the Mackenzie River unsupported (meaning without outside assistance – we carry all the food, fuel, equipment, navigational aids, etc. that we need for the entire expedition).

2. Produce an educational/inspirational visual presentation about our expedition and the process of becoming someone who pushes their limits in life.

3. Visit high schools across Canada in order to share our presentation, and ask youth the question 'Are you being who you want to be, living the way you want to live, and achieving your true potential?'

Just wanted to announce it to get some feedback or comments.
